Downtown Lushoto

Lushoto is a larger village in the Usambara Mountains.  In this village we stayed with host families for the next few weeks.

This is the main road of the town that connects to the other villages and where people come and go.

In the city, they have one bank that everyone goes to.  

Upon our first visit to downtown, we took a tour of the market place.   I came back to the markets countless times throughout my stay to get supplies.  The markets operated on Thursdays and Sundays.
