Rainbow School

The Rainbow School is a school dedicated to teaching children and young adults with disabilities.  At this school, they teach all the subjects of any other school but also basic home skills too.  The students take care of their own gardens and learn how to sustain for themselves.

We attended their gym class where the students play soccer and other game.  Thomas, who I am holding, took my Michigan hat and put it on.  I think the colors look great on him.

All the students wore uniforms each day.

In their cafeteria which consisted of tables and benches had this mural on the wall.

In the kindergarten class, the kids loved to use us as a jungle gym.

The teacher game us a tour of the classroom and lessons from the things posted around the room.  They use a lot of visuals around the room to help aid in the learning process.

We were fortunate to get a picture with the whole Rainbow school and our group.

On our last day at the Rainbow school, we wore rainbow color shirts.
