Irente Children's Home

We were welcomed with a song and flowers by the students at the Children's home.  Here girls came to learn about childcare to eventually go on to nursing school.  These girls did everything at the center from changing dippers to chopping wood.

Each girl had a section of the garden that was theirs.  They took pride in their area and took good care of it.

This is the washroom, where all the cloths of the children are washed.

This is the oldest child at the center.  She has been there since she was a baby.  She helps out with the younger kids and just brings so much joy to everyone.  She was such a free spirit that just loved life.

There were many areas for the children to play with toys and outside.

This is the boys of our group that went over to Tanzania with our site leader at the Children's Home.

These two lovely ladies made our daily lunch and tea while we were at work.  They are true master chiefs!  I have never had so much food that I loved.

The next few pictures are of me around the Children's Home.
